We are pleased to invite your works to take part in the 4th edition of the International Film Festival El ojo cojo, which will take place in the city of Madrid (Spain) during the second week of October.
2008 is the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue
The International Film Festival El ojo cojo is the first festival in Madrid dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue and the integration of socially excluded groups. This is an innovative alternative which aims at joining views of the trajectory of communities and social groups in search for a society based on fairness and solidarity.
Long and short films in Spanish, dubbed or subtitled in Spanish or English will take part.
It is organised by El ojo cojo, a Non Governmental Organisation which aims at creating a place for intercultural exchange and dialogue.
WE DON’T CHARGE A FEE FOR APPLICATIONS
If your film is selected for the competition, it will be included in our temporary cultural circuits and will be edited in DVD or purchased for exhibition on national television. To facilitate this, you will also be welcome to do a presentation for the press during the exhibition.
The deadline for applications is the 26th of May of 2008.
We are confident your work will be greeted with enthusiasm by the public of the International Film Festival El ojo cojo.
